Most high quality 1930s radios were made so the chassis could "float" on rubber washers mounted inside the cabinet. These washers are often deteriorated or missing, causing acoustic feedback, misaligned control shafts, or misalignment of the radio's dial inside the bezel.

After researching this problem, we decided to custom manufacture the most needed sizes. These are not available in any hardware store (we have looked!).
